Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS) and the visiting Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS), witnessed Anderson County's softball squad tip Burlington by a count of 2-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-11 record.
With the loss, Burlington moves to 9-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Sabetha (Sabetha, KS) to meet the Bluejays in a non-league match on Thursday, May 11. The Bluejays go into the match with a record of 8-11. Sabetha won 17-7 in their recent non-league match against Jackson Heights (Holton, KS)
