Washington High School Softball - Burlington-Edison bounces Meridian

The Burlington-Edison Tigers routed the visiting Meridian Trojans softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Tigers (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Seahawks go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Anacortes was routed by Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA), 16-1, in a league battle.

The Trojans now sport a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Granite Falls for a non-league battle on Friday, May 12. Meridian will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Cedar Park Christian (Bothell, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-8.
