The Stafford Bulldogs softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Canton Warriors to 1 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Stafford improves its record to 4-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Somers (Somers, CT) to encounter the Spartans in a North Central Connecticut outing on Monday, May 15. The Spartans enter the outing with a record of 9-7.
The Warriors (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, Gilbert tipped Wamogo Regional (Litchfield, CT), 15-14, in a league outing.
