The Hoover Vikings softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Chardon Hilltoppers to 8 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Hoover moves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Vikings host Perry (Massillon, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a Federal game on Thursday, May 11. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 6-8.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers clash with the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a Western Reserve game, on Friday, May 12. Chardon will attempt to move on its 20-6 season record. The Bombers come into the game with a 6-13 record after their 17-0 league loss to Riverside (Painesville, OH).
