The Loyola Academy Ramblers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting DePaul College Prep Rams to 5 in the Ramblers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Loyola Academy moves its record to 10-14 on the year. The Ramblers host New Trier (Winnetka, IL) to clash with the Trevians in a non-league game on Saturday, May 13. The Trevians come into the game with a record of 8-13. New Trier lost 11-7 in their recent league game against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL)

In their next game, the Rams clash with the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 12. DePaul College Prep will attempt to move on its 8-18 season record. The Wildkits come into the game with a 6-13 record after their 10-9 league win over Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL).
