The North Rangers (Eastlake, OH) softball nipped the visiting GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Rangers (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against South (Willoughby, OH). The Rebels go into the Western Reserve bout with a 12-5 record. In their last bout, South held off Madison (Madison, OH), 12-1, in a league bout.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Green for a Federal bout on Friday, May 12. GlenOak will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over McKinley (Canton, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-1.
