The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the York Wildcats (York, ME) and the visiting Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME), saw York's softball squad achieve victory over Greely by a count of 14-4.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Region for a Class B South match on Friday, May 12. York will face a Lakers squad coming off a 11-5 league win over Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME). The Lakers record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Greely falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME) to face the Capers in a Class B South match on Friday, May 12. The Capers enter the match with a record of 5-2. Cape Elizabeth won 20-3 in their recent non-league match against Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME)
