Maine High School Softball - Monmouth Academy bounces Mount Abram

The Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME) softball routed the visiting Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME), 18-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Mustangs (8-0) will now prepare for their bout against Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Phoenix go into the Class C South bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Spruce Mountain notched a victory over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME), 14-2, in a league bout.
The Roadrunners now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Buckfield for a non-league bout on Friday, May 12. Mount Abram will confront a Bucks squad coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME). The Bucks record now stands at 8-1.
