New York High School Softball - South Jefferson holds off Sandy Creek

The South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) softball the visiting Sandy Creek Comets (Sandy Creek, NY), 5-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Spartans (12-1) will now prepare for their bout against Carthage (Carthage, NY). The Comets go into the Section 3 Frontier A bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Carthage held off Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY), 14-11, in a non-league bout.
The Comets now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Thousand Islands for a Section 3 Frontier C bout on Friday, May 12. Sandy Creek will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 11-1.
