The Wayne Eagles softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting School of the Arts Silverhawks to 7 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Wayne moves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Waterloo (Waterloo, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Finger Lakes East game on Thursday, May 11. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 9-4. Waterloo won 12-2 in their recent league game against Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY)

In their next game, the Silverhawks clash with the Monroe Red Jackets (Rochester, NY) in a Class A game, on Thursday, May 11. School of the Arts will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Red Jackets go into the battle with a 1-7 record after their 19-5 non-league loss to Early College (Yonkers, NY).
