Connecticut High School Softball - St. Joseph bounces Staples

The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) and the host Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), saw St. Joseph's softball squad nip Staples by a count of 10-4.
The Cadets now sport a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ridgefield for a Fairfield County match on Friday, May 12.
With the loss, Staples falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Wreckers travel to Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to face the Bears in a Fairfield County match on Thursday, May 11. The Bears enter the match with a record of 10-7. Norwalk won 6-2 in their recent league match against Stamford (Stamford, CT)
