Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Martin de Porres Lions (Cleveland, OH), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-8 record.
With the loss, St. Martin de Porres falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Andrews Osborne Academy (Willoughby, OH) to face the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a record of 4-4.
