The Walnut Grove Tigers baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Chadwick Cardinals to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers (9-12) will now prepare for their match against Greenfield (Greenfield, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 1 District 6 match with a 3-12 record.
The Cardinals (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Gainesville (Gainesville, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 13-9 record. In their last match, Gainesville tipped Alton (Alton, MO), 9-0, in a non-league match.
