Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) and the host Enka Jets (Enka, NC), saw Foard's baseball squad edge Enka by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 14. Foard will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Black Knights enter the battle with a 18-6 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC).
