Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) and the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC), saw Forbush's baseball squad edge Pine Lake Prep by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Falcons play the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 14. Forbush will attempt to move on its 25-2 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 23-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).
