The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Hammond Morton Governors to 0 in the Red Wolves non-league victory on Friday.
The Red Wolves (17-11) will now prepare for their match against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs go into the South Suburban - Red match with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Richards gained a win over Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL), 2-0, in a league match.
The Governors (11-9) will now prepare for their match against Gary West Side (Gary, IN). The Cougars go into the Great Lakes match with a 0-14 record. In their last match, Gary West Side was overwhelmed by Hammond Central (Hammond, IN), 16-3, in a league match.
