The Plainfield South Cougars volleyball team (Plainfield, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL)

The Cougars (26-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Vikings enter the Central Suburban North challenge with a 25-6 record. In their last challenge, Niles North defeated Maine West (Des Plaines, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 10. Plainfield South will attempt to move on its 13-16 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 26-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Maine South (Park Ridge, IL).
