In Friday's non-league contest, the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ), by a count of 8-7.
Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 13. Lenape Valley will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ).
The now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host West Orange for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 11. Pope John XXIII will confront a Mountaineers squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ). The Mountaineers record now stands at 9-6.
