Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cherry Tigers (Iron, MN), 19-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Duluth East for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. Moose Lake/Willow River will battle a Greyhounds squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Proctor (Proctor, MN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-13.

With the loss, Cherry falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Carlton (Carlton, MN) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
