The Taylor County Cardinals softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Clinton County Bulldogs to 8 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Taylor County moves its record to 19-8 on the year. The Cardinals host Larue County (Hodgenville, KY) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Monday, May 13. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 22-10. Larue County won 8-1 in their recent non-league game against Breckinridge County (Harned, KY)

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 11. Clinton County will attempt to move on its 24-7 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 21-9 record after their 17-7 non-league win over Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY).
