The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Grayslake Central Rams (Grayslake, IL) and the visiting Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL), saw Grayslake Central's softball squad nip Glenbrook North by a count of 11-6.

The Rams now sport a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buffalo Grove for a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. Grayslake Central will face a Bison squad coming off a 11-8 non-league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Bison record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Glenbrook North falls to 13-13 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL) to face the Huskies in a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 19-3. Hersey won 14-4 in their recent league match against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)
