Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) and the visiting Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), witnessed Morgantown's softball squad prevail over Hoover by a count of 9-0.

The Mohigans now sport a 20-7 record. They play next when they host University for a non-league match on Monday, May 13. Morgantown will face a Hawks squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 19-9.

With the loss, Hoover moves to 24-3 on the season. The Huskies host Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 14. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 12-11. Lincoln won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
