The Yorkville Foxes softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Joliet Central Steelmen to 0 in the Foxes league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Yorkville improves its record to 15-12 on the year. The Foxes host Minooka (Minooka, IL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, May 11. The Indians come into the game with a record of 24-2. Minooka won 10-2 in their recent league game against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL)

In their next game, the Steelmen clash with the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) in a Suburban Prairie - South game, on Monday, May 13. Joliet Central will attempt to improve on its 2-20 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 3-18 record after their 7-0 league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
