North Carolina High School Softball - Polk County falls to Mountain Island Charter

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptors softball team scored a nice 11-0 triumph over the Polk County Wolverines.

With the triumph, Mountain Island Charter moves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Raptors travel to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 14. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 19-3. Uwharrie Charter won 7-1 in their recent non-league contest against Swain County (Bryson City, NC)
