The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL) and the host Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), saw Trinity's softball squad achieve victory over Ridgewood by a count of 14-1.

The Blazers now sport a 5-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Resurrection for a non-league match on Monday, May 13. Trinity will face a Bandits squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Bandits record now stands at 14-10.

With the loss, Ridgewood falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to face the Friars in a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. The Friars enter the match with a record of 11-7. Fenwick lost 3-2 in their recent league match against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL)
