The Airport Jets baseball squad (Carleton, MI), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Ida Bluestreaks (Ida, MI)
With the triumph, Ida moves its record to 9-8 on the season. The Bluestreaks host Summerfield (Petersburg, MI) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 7-6. Summerfield won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI)
The Jets now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a Huron contest on Monday, May 12. Airport will confront a Bears squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI). The Bears record now stands at 9-14.
