Ohio High School Baseball - Ashland holds off Perkins

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH) and the host Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH), saw Ashland's baseball team gain a win over Perkins by a count of 11-7.

The Arrows now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison Comprehensive for a Ohio Cardinal challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Ashland will clash with a Rams team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Vermilion (Vermilion, OH). The Rams record now stands at 3-21.

With the defeat, Perkins drops to 14-7 on the year. The Pirates host Swanton (Swanton, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Swanton won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paulding (Paulding, OH)
