The Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) baseball the host Jackson Ironman/Ironladies (Jackson, OH), 7-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nelsonville-York for a Tri-Valley - Ohio challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Athens will clash with a Buckeyes team coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to Belpre (Belpre, OH). The Buckeyes record now stands at 4-13.
With the defeat, Jackson drops to 18-1 on the year. The Ironman/ironladies travel to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Walsh Jesuit won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)
