In Saturday's non-league game, the host Basehor-Linwood Bobcats baseball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Emporia Spartans.

The Bobcats (15-6) will now prepare for their game against Lansing (Lansing, KS). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 13-11 record. In their last game, Lansing was overwhelmed by De Soto (De Soto, KS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
