Michigan High School Baseball - Bay City Western defeats Standish-Sterling

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Bay City Western Warriors baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the Standish-Sterling Panthers.
The Warriors (13-2) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Oilers go into the Saginaw Valley game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Mt. Pleasant was overwhelmed by Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI), 12-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Farwell Eagles (Farwell, MI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 13. Standish-Sterling will attempt to improve on its 14-1 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 3-9 record after their 12-6 league loss to Meridian (Sanford, MI).
