In Saturday's non-league bout, the Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA) baseball squad edged the visiting Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA), by a tally of 3-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils (Greencastle, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial bout, on Monday, May 12. Big Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 9-8 record after their 17-4 non-league win over Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA).

The Blackhawks (12-6) will now prepare for their bout against Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA). The Trojans enter the Tri-Valley bout with a 9-9 record. In their last bout, Upper Dauphin Area edged Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA), 12-0, in a league bout.
