The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) and the host Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN), saw St. Michael-Albertville's baseball team beat Brainerd by a margin of 9-5.

The Knights (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds enter the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Moorhead was overwhelmed by Bemidji (Bemidji, MN), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Warriors face the Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 10. Brainerd will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Spuds go into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Bemidji (Bemidji, MN).
