The Braves now hold a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Roncalli for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory will play a Royals team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Royals record now stands at 17-3.

With the defeat, Southport drops to 10-7 on the year. The Cardinals host Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN) to play the Cougars in a Conference Indiana test on Tuesday, May 13. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 9-7. Bloomington North won 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Clay City (Clay City, IN)
