The Butler Golden Tornado baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Kiski Area Cavaliers to 1 in the Golden Tornado non-league win on Saturday.
The Golden Tornado now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host West Mifflin for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Butler will clash with a Titans team coming off a 7-5 league win over Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA). The Titans record now stands at 15-5.
With the defeat, Kiski Area drops to 4-15 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Bedford (Bedford, PA) to clash with the Bisons in a non-league test on Friday, May 16. The Bisons go into the test with a record of 11-8. Bedford lost 8-4 in their recent league test against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA)
