In Saturday's non-league bout, the Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Coventry Comets (Akron, OH), by a score of 14-7.

Next up, the Indians encounter the Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) in a Principals bout, on Monday, May 12. Northwest will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 10-6 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Waterloo (Atwater, OH).
