In Saturday's non-league bout, the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) baseball squad edged the host Seneca East Tigers (Attica, OH), by a tally of 6-5.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH) in a Firelands bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Crestview will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Flyers enter the bout with a 9-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH).
The Tigers (10-11) will now prepare for their bout against Mohawk (Sycamore, OH). The Warriors enter the Northern 10 bout with a 16-3 record. In their last bout, Mohawk edged Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
