Illinois High School Baseball - Stevenson holds off Deerfield

The Stevenson Patriots baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Deerfield Warriors to 1 in the Patriots non-league win on Saturday.
The Patriots now own a 13-15 record. They take the field next when they host Zion-Benton for a North Suburban test on Monday, May 12. Stevenson will clash with a Zee-Bees team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Zee-Bees record now stands at 7-18.
With the defeat, Deerfield drops to 12-16 on the year. The Warriors travel to New Trier (Winnetka, IL) to clash with the Trevians in a Central Suburban - South test on Monday, May 12. The Trevians come into the contest with a record of 21-6. New Trier won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL)
