The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) and the visiting Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL), saw West Aurora's baseball team beat Dundee-Crown by a margin of 12-2.

The Blackhawks (20-5) will now prepare for their battle against Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons enter the Upstate Eight battle with a 3-18 record. In their last battle, Elgin was overwhelmed by Fenton (Bensenville, IL), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chargers face the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) in a Fox Valley - Valley battle, on Monday, May 12. Dundee-Crown will attempt to improve on its 10-17 season record. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a 14-12 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL).
