In Saturday's non-league bout, the Edison Chargers (Milan, OH) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH), by a tally of 12-1.
Next up, the Chargers encounter the Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. Edison will attempt to upgrade on its 19-1 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 15-7 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Swanton (Swanton, OH).
The Roughriders (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Plymouth (Plymouth, OH). The Big Red enter the Firelands bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, Plymouth overcame Crestview (Ashland, OH), 6-3, in a league bout.
