The Whitko Wildcats (South Whitley, IN) baseball trounced the host Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN), 21-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manchester for a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, May 12. Whitko will clash with a Squires team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Squires record now stands at 9-11.

With the defeat, Elwood drops to 2-19 on the year. The Panthers travel to Monroe Central (Parker City, IN) to clash with the Golden Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. The Golden Bears go into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Monroe Central lost 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Winchester Community (Winchester, IN)
