In Saturday's non-league game, the host Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Franklin Sabers.

The Galloping Ghosts (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Fond du Lac (Fond du Lac, WI). The Cardinals go into the Fox Valley Association game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Fond du Lac nudged Appleton East (Appleton, WI), 3-2, in a league game.

Next, the Sabers play the Kenosha Tremper Trojans (Kenosha, WI) in a Southeast game, on Tuesday, May 13. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 12-3 record after their 17-6 league win over Racine Horlick (Racine, WI).
