With the triumph, Galesburg advances its record to 12-16 on the season. The Silver Streaks travel to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL) to battle the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, May 10. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 27-2. St. Joseph-Ogden won 10-0 in their recent league match against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL)

The Comets now have a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lisle for a Illinois Central Eight match on Monday, May 12. Reed-Custer will battle a Lions squad coming off a 22-0 non-league loss to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-22.
