In Saturday's non-league bout, the Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI) baseball squad edged the host Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI), by a tally of 9-8.
Next up, the Flying G's encounter the Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) in a Jack Pine bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Gladwin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Bluejays enter the bout with a 12-5 record after their 6-2 league win over Meridian (Sanford, MI).
