In Saturday's non-league bout, the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) baseball squad the host Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL), by a tally of 4-2.
Next up, the Spartans encounter the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a Southwest Prairie bout, on Monday, May 12. Romeoville will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Steelmen enter the bout with a 4-23 record after their 10-0 league loss to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL).
