The Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Perry Commodores to 1 in the Thunderbirds non-league win on Saturday.
The Thunderbirds now hold a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Celina for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. Lima Central Catholic will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 25-0 non-league win over Lima Senior (Lima, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-10.
With the defeat, Perry drops to 13-5 on the campaign. The Commodores travel to Spencerville (Spencerville, OH) to face the Bearcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Bearcats enter the battle with a record of 8-8. Spencerville won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hardin Northern (Dola, OH)
