The Maine South Hawks baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs to 2 in the Hawks non-league win on Saturday.
The Hawks now own a 15-14 record. They take the field next when they host Evanston for a Central Suburban - South test on Monday, May 12. Maine South will clash with a Wildkits team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 11-13.
With the defeat, Riverside-Brookfield drops to 16-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL) to clash with the Raiders in a Metro Suburban - Red test on Monday, May 12. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 13-15. Glenbard South lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL)
