In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Manhattan Indians baseball team scored a close 9-2 victory over the Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs.
The Indians (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Brush (Brush, CO). The Beetdiggers enter the non-league game with a 12-6 record. In their last game, Brush held off Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO), 4-3, in a league game.
Next, the Monarchs face the Garden City Buffaloes (Garden City, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 13. Thomas More Prep-Marian will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Buffaloes enter the game with a 6-12 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Scott (Scott City, KS).
