In Saturday's non-league bout, the St. James Saints (St. James, MN) baseball squad edged the visiting United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN), by a tally of 8-7.
Next up, the Saints encounter the Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights (Lake Crystal, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. St. James will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 4-10 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN).
The Rebels (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 7-11 record. In their last bout, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton edged St. Clair (St. Clair, MN), 13-2, in a league bout.
