The Sandburg Eagles lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host Dunlap Eagles to 7 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mother McAuley for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. Sandburg will clash with a Mighty Macs squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 8-9.
With the loss, Dunlap falls to 3-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a Southwestern challenge on Saturday, May 17. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 5-5.
