Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH) and the visiting Shaker Heights Red Raiders (Shaker Heights, OH), witnessed Lake Catholic's lacrosse squad top Shaker Heights by a count of 17-7.
The Cougars (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Boardman was overwhelmed by Poland Seminary (Poland, OH), 11-3, in a league test.
Next, the Red Raiders battle the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 12. Shaker Heights will attempt to move on its 0-14 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 10-3 record after their 12-11 non-league win over Jackson (Massillon, OH).
